Fang Around is a seasonal community event hosted by The Dark Parlour in collaboration with Royal Square District in Downtown York, Pennsylvania. Our goal is to provide a safe and fun gathering space to build community engagement and involvement. Our events are heavily focused on various arts, culture, history/education, and entertainment, whether we are showcasing a variety of vendors, hosting live entertainment, or creating a stage for music and theatre.

As a “Free to Fang Around” event, we bring opportunity to build a strong, safe, and creative community for all to enjoy. The Dark Parlour works closely within Royal Square District of Downtown York, Pennsylvania to include fellow merchants, galleries, and restaurants in the Fang Around events by way of encouraging active participation and thus driving up potential for new customers and networking. We aim to bring a large audience to Downtown York from all over the East Coast, encouraging a safe environment for all walks of life. Fang Around always includes animal advocacy, LGBTQIA+ involvement/activity/awareness, and we are vehemently intolerant of any hatred, enforcing a zero-tolerance policy for our events.

To maintain the “Free to Fang Around” opportunity, we need sponsors! We offer tiered sponsorship programs ranging from the "Darkling" level of $50.00 to the Elite program at $1,500 and above. We put your dollars to good use, whether it is ensuring proper safety protocols, getting the best entertainment we can find, or providing snacks to our volunteers! Whatever amount, we make sure it goes a long way. Every dollar sponsored helps to ensure we can maintain that "Free to Fang Around" availability to our community.

Lastly, we happily and graciously accept in-kind sponsorships as well, whether it is donated food items for our volunteers and performers, tables/chairs to be used, or similar. Every sponsorship and donation matters, as all of us are putting our time and effort into something for the whole of the community and not to line our pockets. Our time is volunteered because we believe in the vision that is Fang Around.
